Creme de la Crumb is a food blog full of simple and tasty recipes with beautiful food photography, an ideal destination to find your next dinner or dessert. Tiffany, the founder of Creme de la Crumb, takes a minimalist, modern approach to family-friendly recipes. For the blog design, she wanted her brand to reflect and complement her photography style.
The logo identity uses geometric shapes and lines as an emblematic representation of dining table, plate, and other kitchen elements. A thick, serif font reflects the traditional elements of her recipes. A monochrome, neutral color palette complements her photography without taking anything away from them! Along with stationery and media kit design, this project included updating her ebook template to match her new branding.
Blog Design & Development
The blog design includes a curated homepage experience, recipe index, and affiliate shop. I simplified her page templates to allow her to create high-quality static pages. Her audit involved a significant clean-up of her blog organization structure (categories and tags) to highlight popular verticals such as 30-minute meals and foil packs. The result is a highly visual resource for delicious, family-friendly recipes!
